Mark your calendars now for the 39th Annual Walk for the Animals and Walktoberfest to take place on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at beautiful Jim Dietrich Park!  Registration begins at 10 AM and the Walk starts at 11!

Humane Pennsylvania’s Walk for the Animals & Walktoberfest is the oldest and largest animal welfare event in the region that attracts thousands of participants annually and is supported by animal lovers and their friends across the nation and globe! For thirty-nine years, Walkers have been helping raise funds and awareness to improve the lives of animals and the people who love them – and having lots of fun doing it! The Walk also features live music, vendors, and activities for the whole family!

Registration starts at 10AM and the Walk kicks off at 11AM! Walktoberfest is from 11AM-2PM in the park! The Walk is a free, family-friendly event that is open to the public, but registered Walkers get a commemorative Walk for the Animals t-shirt! The cost of registration is only $20 for adults and $10 for kids! Want to do a little bit more for the animals? VIP registration is available again this year for just $50! Join us as a VIP Walker and you’ll enjoy exclusive access to a delicious buffet & tasty beverages! Walk for the Animals is always a lot of fun, but to be honest, the most important thing about the Walk is the money that it raises to save the lives of thousands of homeless, abused and neglected animals each year. The animals of the Humane Pennsylvania need YOU and the most fun and effective way you can help is by forming a Walk Pack. What is a Pack? A Pack, or team, is a group of people that collect money together and Walk together.

By forming a Pack, you can bring a group of like-minded animal lovers together with a mission – a mission to combine fundraising efforts to touch as many lives as possible! You’ll also enjoy the afternoon having a great time with your friends and loved ones, taking part in lots of fun activities for the whole family! Most importantly: You’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that your Pack helped save thousands of lives!  Never created a Pack before? Your first step is to fill out a Walk Pack Formation Form.
