• Friday, August 13, 2010 Furry Friday- Official Kick Off of the Walk for the Animals! 5PM- 8PM Open House, Art Exhibition, drinks, light fare, say Hi! to the animals.  Featured Artist is Adrienne Trafford. Live music by Ike Wilder and Daniel Bower.  Walk posters, brochures, yard signs, registration forms- all will be available for pick up.  Walk registrations are discounted at this event!

• Saturday, August 28, 2010 Spike's Mutt Mixer presented by HSBC and Berks County Tennis Club.  Join us for a fun day of tennis on the BCTC grounds in Wyomissing.  Round-robin tournament benefits the HSBC. Registration $40 for one, $90 for the whole family. Register online here!

• Saturday, September 11, 2010 Car Wash for the Animals! Join us for another fun-filled day at Scott's Autowash in Exeter. • Saturday, September 25, 2010- Walk for the Animals and Walktoberfest! Doggie Walk and all day entertainment- bring the entire family, friends, neighbors and have a great day out while supporting the animals at the HSBC! Furry Friday

The 2nd Friday of every month is Furry Friday! 5:00PM - 7:30PM at the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 North 11th Street, Reading. The open house features art exhibitions by local artists, drinks & light fare, news about the great new things happening at the HSBC, tours and a chance to say Hi! to the animals.
